Roll Recovery: LOVE
Move over foam roller, there's a new guy in town. I had seen so many people online using this but thought it seemed a little pricy for a roller- especially when I already had a foam roller.
Then one of my lovely Oiselle teammates secured a discount for everyone and I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase.
HOLY COW. It hurts so good. Right out of the box I decided to try out the initial exercises it showed you on the intro card. It felt terrible and amazing all at the same time. I was able to really get after certain muscles without having to awkwardly lie on the floor and slide back and forth.
I was totally sold. Since then I've been using it all the time. I try to roll down every morning after my workout. I start with the IT band, move to my hamstrings and quads, then up to my glutes and hip flexors and finish out at my calves. Everything feels so much better!!! And I honestly think it's helping me heal faster from my current injuries- especially with my cramping left calf.
So- despite what is a high price- it is 100% worth it. You can easily travel with Roll Recovery- so it'll come along on all my race weekends now. No more foam roller for me- this is where it's at.
